The Deputy Manager, Events & Fulfillment supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of events, campaigns, and fulfillment initiatives to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution. The role oversees end-to-end event and campaign fulfillment operations, works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, manages vendors and budgets, and supports operational excellence across all initiatives. As a key operational lead, the Deputy Manager drives continuous process improvement, and steps in to lead the function in the Manager's absence within a fast‑paced, stakeholder-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, roadshows, exhibitions, and fulfillment activities from concept to post-event review.
2. Act as second-in-command to lead the Events & Fulfillment team, including task allocation, coaching, and performance support.
3. Oversee operational readiness including logistics, vendor management, venue coordination, and material fulfillment.
4. Manage budgets, cost tracking, and purchase processes to ensure cost-effective delivery and compliance with financial controls.
5. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to align event objectives with business and branding requirements.
6. Ensure adherence to service standards, brand guidelines, risk management, and health & safety requirements.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing processes, post-event reports, and implementing best practices.
8. Step in to represent the department or act on behalf of the Manager when required, including decision-making and issue escalation.
Qualification and Experience
- 5 years experience in events, operations, or fulfillment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong project management, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent events and deadlines
- Budget management and cost control experience
- Calm under pressure, hands-on, and detail-oriented leader
