Design Engineer (Mechatronic/ Electrical)

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Develop new solution & enhance power system designs through collaboration with cross functional teams
• Support the integration of additional communication modules and system interfaces into existing and new products
• Coordinate and communicate with technical or software partners as required
• Conduct feasibility studies, testing, & validation to meet standards & market needs.
• Able to understand engineering drawings, schematics & technical documentation.
• Supervise, oversee and support products assembly.
• Plan & implement the processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of the new products.
• Provide technical support, components evaluation and selection for product design.
• Understanding of the PCB design & able to use CAD software.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all designs and production activities meet relevant electrical, safety and regulatory requirements according to latest standard.
• Prepare, maintain technical documentation, SOPs, drawings and BOMs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and process reliability.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

• Strong familiarity and hands-on experience on panel assemble or related to electrical assemblies.
• Understanding of engineering principles such as materials, electronics, electrical design & etc.
• Preferably proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent software.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Exposure to small scale production or manufacturing processes or power electrical is an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate effectively internal teams.
• Strong problem solving & analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
