Design Specialist

Job Type: 6 months contract | on-site

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Responsibilities:

1. Component Development & Integration

• Collaborate with engineering to maintain the architecture and development of component SDKs
• Develop deep familiarity with mobile tech stack and platform architecture for seamless integration
• Contribute to mobile design-to-code workflows and evaluate new tools for translating designs
• Push the boundaries of component quality across animation, dark mode, accessibility, and performance

2. Collaboration & Mentorship

• Improve collaboration workflows between design and engineering to drive SDK adoption
• Support designers and engineers in the production repository with hands-on coding and reviews
• Mentor team members on design-system integration and provide production-ready solutions
• Work closely with designers to demystify engineering workflows

Requirement:

• Experience in UI/UX design and mobile component development

• Familiarity with mobile tech stacks, CI/CD, and release processes

• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills

• Proficiency in animation technologies and design-to-code tools
