The Role

Role Overview

We are looking for a Designer cum Operations Executive to join our regional e-commerce team based in Malaysia. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you will play a dual role: producing creative assets for campaigns and supporting daily e-commerce operations. This is a cross-functional creative role focused on e-commerce performance. You will work closely with the marketing, operations, and marketplace teams to deliver high-impact visuals that drive sales and engagement.

Role Purpose

To support design & content production, promotional materials, and product asset management across all markets; also assist with operational tasks tied to design/upload/promo creation and scheduling across markets (MY, SG, ID, HK, VN).

Key Responsibilities

  • Create visual assets for web banners, social media, email marketing, ads
  • Edit & retouch product images; ensure consistency in product photography standards, aligned to brand guidelines
  • Work with marketing team to produce campaign collateral and secure necessary approvals
  • Upload assets/promos to marketplaces and Shopify, ensuring correct formatting/specs
  • Maintain brand style guidelines
  • Monitor performance of creative assets; suggest improvements
  • Adapt and localize assets by country and channel (Shopify, Lazada, Shopee, etc.)
  • Ensure mobile-first design principles are followed to improve conversion
  • Assist with campaign asset uploads and merchandising setup

Ideal Profile

Skills & experience:

  • 13 years in graphic design/e-commerce creative role
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.); optional: basic video/motion graphics/Canva
  • Good eye for detail, understanding of UI/UX basics, typography, image optimization for web
  • Ability to manage time across multiple requests, collaborate with marketing & operations
  • Knowledge of Shopify or marketplace backend tools is a plus
  • Understanding of e-commerce creative performance metrics (CTR, engagement rates)
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, deadline-driven campaign cycles (11.11, 12.12, etc.)
  • Experience in localized design for different Southeast Asian markets is a plus

Works with: E-Commerce Executive, Marketing team, Ops team
