Job Description

About the Job

  • Provides technical analysis and assistance to resolve desktop/laptop/printer and application problems.
  • Updates, follow up and resolves incidents and service requests within agreed SLA.
  • Supports basic network related and server system issues.
  • Ensures quality of fixes and patches.
  • Applies patches and upgrades accordingly as assigned.
  • Updates call center on the ticket status and ensuring the tickets are resolved within agreed SLA timeline.
  • Monitors support issues at sites to identify patterns and common issues with the aim of prioritizing resolution of issues that significantly improve the degree of reliability and quality of services.
  • Develops workaround and fixes for new incidents.
  • Monitors the regional call center team members and ensure that all escalations, process and procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform daily, weekly or monthly reporting.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

We are looking for people with

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT or its related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Desktop Engineer.
  • Excellent communicator, problem solving, management & organization skills.
  • Ability to make sound judgement and decision.
  • Possess coordination skills in managing complex investigations or incidents.
  • Structured, independent and self-reliant.
  • Responsible, pro-active, reliable and trustworthy character.
  • Strong experience with Windows 11 administration and patching, Group Policy Object (GPO) management required.
  • Strong experience with Windows, MAC & IPADOS/IOS management.
  • Experience with LanDesk or Intunes administration is a plus.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
