Are you an IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues and helping users stay connected and productive We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented Desktop Engineer to provide technical support, maintain IT equipment, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and system-related issues.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, email, VPN, and user access issues.
• Set up workstations, user accounts, and IT equipment for new employees.
• Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and security patching.
• Manage and resolve IT support tickets within agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and troubleshooting activities.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant IT teams when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or technical support is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
• Willingness to work onsite at GBS Mahsuri Penang or Livingston tower Georgetown
• Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
