Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Senior Desktop Support professional to provide end-to-end support for our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, software, and related IT systems while ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. This role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line and second-line desktop support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in various systems and applications.
- Monitor IT systems, escalate issues as needed, and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in the deployment of software updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and IT inventory.
- Support IT projects and upgrades as required.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in desktop or IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and common desktop applications.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting, VPNs, and basic server concepts is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a rotational shift environment.
