Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Software Developer, IBM BAW/FileNet to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise workflow and case management solutions within the EWF – Enterprise Workflow platform. The role requires strong hands-on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)/IBM BPM, IBM FileNet, Java, JavaScript/Dojo, SQL, and Oracle. The candidate will work on enterprise workflow automation, application integration, document management, production support, and performance optimization in an Open Systems environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise workflow applications using IBM BAW / IBM BPM.

• Develop and configure workflow, business process, and case management solutions based on business and technical requirements.

• Work extensively with IBM BPM / Case Manager and IBM FileNet platforms.

• Develop and maintain Java-based application components and integrations.

• Develop and customize user interfaces using JavaScript and Dojo.

• Design and implement integrations between workflow applications, FileNet, databases, and other enterprise systems.

• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions using Oracle.

• Perform application troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and production support.

• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA, Infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

• Prepare and maintain solution designs, technical specifications, deployment guides, and support documentation.

• Participate in application performance tuning, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skill Set

• 7+ years of software development experience, preferably in enterprise application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / IBM BPM.

• IBM BPM / Case Manager – Mandatory.

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM FileNet.

• Strong programming experience in Java.

• Strong experience with JavaScript and Dojo.

• Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong experience with Oracle databases.

• Experience working in Open Systems environments.

• Strong experience in application integration, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with code reviews, technical documentation, performance tuning, and application optimization.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise workflow platforms in production environments.

• Experience with application release and deployment management.

• Knowledge of performance optimization and application tuning.

• Experience in banking, financial services, or other large enterprise environments.
