To help us build functional systems that improve customer experience, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in deploying product updates, identifying production issues, implementing integrations, and managing Kubernetes clusters and environments to meet our customers needs. Job Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve development tools, infrastructure, and deployment environments
- Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and environments across development, staging, and production
- Deploy and manage applications using Helm charts and container orchestration best practices
- Monitor Kubernetes cluster performance, availability, and resource utilization
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Collaborate with developers to streamline release processes and ensure deployment reliability
- Identify production issues, troubleshoot incidents, and implement sustainable solutions
- Ensure system security, compliance, and protection against cybersecurity threats
- Review deployment processes and recommend improvements to system performance and reliability
- Participate actively in project planning, architecture discussions, and operational decision-making
- Develop automation tools and integrations to support internal systems and operational workflows
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- Strong understanding of Helm deployment and Kubernetes application lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools for Kubernetes performance monitoring
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Proficiency with Git and modern Git workflows
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience operating production workloads on AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud
- Experience building internal engineering tools or automation platforms
- Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed system
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and cloud security standards
