Job Description (DevOps & DBA Focused)
- Build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data processing workflows and analytics applications.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of data infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of databases and data processing environments.
- Manage and maintain databases such as StarRocks, DorisDB, Redis, Hive & HDFS, and PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance measures for data processing and storage.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to streamline ETL workflows, optimize query performance, and enhance data availability.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE, Data engineer, cloud infrastructure, or database administration.
- Strong experience managing databases like StarRocks, DorisDB, Redis, Hive & HDFS, and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning, backup & recovery, and replication.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Bash scripting for automation and database operations.
- Hands-on experience with containerized services (eg. Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed computing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Flink). Knowing Flink is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (eg. GitLab CI/CD) and best practices for deployment automation.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for database and infrastructure observability is a plus.
- Business proficiency (written and spoken) in both English and Mandarin (Chinese) languages.
