Rapidz is building the next generation of crypto payments, cards, and financial infrastructure across APAC, LATAM, and beyond. As we scale our platform, we're looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us design, secure, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure that supports fast-moving product teams.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership not just keeping the lights on, but enabling engineering teams to ship safely and fast.
What you'll be working on
- Designing, building, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, SSM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Managing and improving CI/CD pipelines for both web and mobile structures (Bitbucket, Expo, CircleCI, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Terraform workflows)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Improving deployment reliability, observability, and rollback strategies
- Supporting Node.js / NestJS / React Native services and containerised workloads
- Strengthening security posture (IAM, secrets management, access controls, audibility)
- Cost optimisation and performance tuning as we scale
- Working closely with Product, Backend, and Security teams to unblock delivery
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
- Strong experience with AWS in production environments
- Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security fundamentals
- Experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
- CI/CD experience for modern backend stacks (Node.js preferred)
- Comfortable owning production systems and responding to incidents
- Startup mindset: pragmatic, responsible, and able to move fast without breaking things
- Experience with containers (Docker) and/or orchestration
- Exposure to monitoring/observability tools beyond basics
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, payments, or crypto
- Familiarity with compliance-heavy environments (KYC, AML, audits)
