Job Description:
Strategic Pitching & Activation
- Proactively pitch Shopee Ads and relevant strategic programs to targeted brands and marketplace sellers to drive consistent activation and adoption.
- Conduct deep-dives into ad performance metrics and collaborate closely with Cluster and Category teams to uncover investment opportunities.
- Continuously refine the Shopee Ads pitching strategy to optimize activation rates
Performance & Insight-Driven Selling
- Leverage data analytics and storytelling to evaluate campaign performance, guide strategic recommendations, and identify areas for investment growth.
- Position Shopee Ads through a consulting-led approach by aligning advertising strategies with brand objectives, key pain points, and marketplace dynamics.
- Translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations, influencing both seller and brand decision-making.
Relationship Management & Consultative Selling
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with brands and sellers to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term Ads investment.
- Partner with Account Managers and internal teams to present cohesive ad strategies.
- Educate brands and sellers on Shopee Ads best practices through regular training touchpoints and performance reviews.
Objection Handling & Feedback Loops
- Manage objections effectively and overcome advertiser hesitation through value-driven proposals.
- Channel seller and brand feedback into product or strategy refinements by working closely with internal Ads and cross-functional teams.
Content & Knowledge Enablement
- Curate and refine educational materials to elevate overall ad product understanding.
- Enable advertiser learning and self-sufficiency in ad optimization and performance tracking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field is required
- Experience as Ads Account Manager or similar role experience in digital media is preferred
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Hunger to generate revenue and monetize for the organization
- Good team player, adaptable, positive working attitude, and a quick learner
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (verbal and written communication skills)
- Proficiency and comfort in utilizing Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) as well as collaborating on Google sheets and Google slides
