About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on, and highly collaborative Brand Design Lead to evolve and build our design standards and systems required to support our next phase of growth. In our organization, design is a functional lever for clarity, trust, and commercial execution.

We have established a reputation for quality care, but as we scale, we need to move from being functional to being distinctive. The goal isn't to reinvent who we are, but to ensure our visual and brand execution is as high-quality and relevant as the care we provide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve HMI's visual identity and brand system across markets.
  • Build and maintain the rigorous design systems, templates, and workflows required to drive consistency and efficiency as we grow.
  • Oversee and contribute hands-on to the production of branded communications, from integrated campaigns and video content to in-facility materials.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery for multiple business units, prioritising high-impact projects to ensure timely, professional execution.
  • Strengthen internal design capabilities, leveraging tools and AI to improve speed and scalability.
  • Own the UI/UX design for key web interfaces, including websites, landing pages, and campaign flows, turning business needs into intuitive user paths.
  • Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, working directly with developers to ensure design integrity is maintained through to launch.
  • Manage website delivery end-to-end, including scoping requirements, coordinating with developers, tracking timelines, and ensuring timely launch.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in brand design, with a preference for healthcare, services, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Advanced design fundamentals in typography, layout, and visual identity, with a strong grasp of modern digital design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating clear thinking, visual identity systems, and high-quality execution across brand and digital.
  • Proven track record of building, evolving, and scaling brand systems across both physical environments and digital platforms.
  • Able to balance consistency with flexibility across different markets and business units.
  • Experience guiding designers and managing stakeholders across multiple business units.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect design execution to business growth and patient trust.
  • Hands-on operational agility, comfortable moving between high-level strategy and direct execution to meet tight timelines.
  • Technical fluency in collaborating with marketing, clinical, and engineering teams to ensure design integrity from concept to launch.
