Role Overview

Our manufacturing client is implementing Critical Manufacturing MES in Kulim. We are seeking SAP and Non-SAP ERP manufacturing consultants with transferable production, quality, maintenance or shop-floor experience who are ready to transition into MES implementation. Selected candidates will receive structured Critical Manufacturing MES training and support implementation, testing, deployment and post-go-live activities.

Required SAP Background

Candidates must have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

·      SAP MES

·      SAP MII / SAP ME

·      SAP PP

·      SAP QM

·      SAP PM

Key Responsibilities

·      Gather and document manufacturing and shop-floor requirements.

·      Analyze production, quality, maintenance, material-flow and equipment processes.

·      Support Critical Manufacturing MES configuration and implementation.

·      Assist with integration between SAP, MES and other manufacturing systems.

·      Prepare process flows, functional specifications, user stories, data mappings and test scripts.

·      Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing; record, track and retest defects.

·      Support master-data validation, user training, cutover, go-live and hypercare.

·      Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, IT, SAP and MES teams.

Candidate Requirements

·      Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.

·      4–7 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.

·      Practical experience in at least one required SAP area.

·      Good understanding of manufacturing or plant operations.

·      Experience in an SAP, MES, ERP or manufacturing digitalization project.

·      Ability to translate manufacturing requirements into system processes.

·      Experience preparing functional documentation or test scenarios.

·      Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

·      Willingness to complete Critical Manufacturing MES training and work primarily onsite in Kulim.

·      Availability to support go-live or critical deployment activities when required.

Preferred Experience

·      Semiconductor, electronics, high-tech, automotive, medical-device or other manufacturing environment.

·      SAP S/4HANA manufacturing knowledge or SAP-to-MES integration experience.

·      Understanding of production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, inspection processes, equipment, maintenance orders or shop-floor execution.

·      Knowledge of APIs, SQL, middleware, databases or manufacturing-system integration.

·      Existing Critical Manufacturing or other enterprise MES experience.
