Company Description Akshara Entertainment Network (M) Sdn Bhd operates Sama Sama Oye!, Malaysia's first Bollywood and Punjabi digital radio station, designed to connect fans of these genres with vibrant local voices. The station features content in both Malay and English, offering broad accessibility and reach. Radio jockeys (RJs) are subject-matter experts, providing in-depth insights, curated music, and engaging conversations. Sama Sama Oye! aims to be the primary destination for everything related to Bollywood and Punjabi entertainment, creating a dynamic platform for culture, music, and community. Knowledge of Bollywood and Punjabi entertainment is not essential to the role.

Role Description

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for planning and executing digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, website traffic, mobile app downloads, and subscription growth for Sama Sama Oye!. You will work closely with RJs, Content, Radio Producer, Production, Technology, and Business Development teams to support daily on-air radio programming, marketing campaigns, digital content, proposals, and promotional activities across various online platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya, requiring a strong presence in the studio to support live shows, events, and real-time digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns to support brand awareness, audience engagement, app downloads, and subscription growth.

* Manage the company's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, by creating engaging content, short videos, and maintaining an active online presence.

* Design marketing materials such as social media graphics, digital advertisements, posters, banners, presentation slides, brochures, and other promotional assets while ensuring consistency with the company's brand guidelines.

* Update and maintain website content, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and implement basic SEO best practices to improve online visibility and user experience.

* Monitor campaign performance, website traffic, and social media analytics, and prepare weekly or monthly reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.

* Assist in preparing marketing proposals, sponsorship decks, partnership presentations, and other business documents to support sales, marketing, and business development activities.

* Develop marketing content including newsletters, website articles, campaign materials, promotional copy, and email communications.

* Stay updated with digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, and recommend new ideas to improve marketing effectiveness.

* Support company events, promotional activities, product launches, and other marketing initiatives as required.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.

* 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role.

* Good understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, SEO, and web analytics.

* Proficient in Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar creative tools is an advantage.

* Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite, or similar digital marketing tools is an advantage.

* Strong graphic design, copywriting, presentation, and communication skills.

* Able to prepare reports, presentations, and marketing proposals with attention to detail.

* Creative, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

* Passion for digital media, entertainment, music, or broadcasting is an added advantage.

* An understanding of local Malaysian media audiences.
