The Role: Accelerating Our Digital Transformation

Are you a tech-savvy student who loves organizing chaos Do you want to see how a global supply chain operation transitions from traditional methods to a digital-first future

We are looking for a Digital Operations Intern to support our Operations Department. This is a unique hybrid role where you will act as a bridge between our daily operational needs and our future digital goals. You will spend roughly 50% of your time ensuring our current operations run smoothly (Governance & Coordination) and 50% driving the adoption of new digital tools (Project Implementation).

What You Will Do:

  • Digital Transformation (The Project Work):
  • Change Management & Training: You will be the Digital Champion on the floor. This means helping shift operators learn new apps, creating simple How-To user guides (SOPs), and troubleshooting issues during the rollout of new tools.
  • Data Digitization Strategy: Lead the migration of historical physical records into a structured, searchable digital database. You aren't just scanning; you are designing a logical filing system for the future.
  • Operational Analytics: Assist in cleaning and structuring raw production data so it is ready for management analysis.
  • Operational Excellence & Governance (The Foundation):
  • Department Coordination: Act as the central nervous system for the Ops team by managing schedules, coordinating critical meetings, and ensuring action items are tracked.
  • Information Management: Maintain and audit our filing systems (both physical and digital) to ensure we are always audit-ready and compliant with global standards.
  • Ad-Hoc Problem Solving: Support Operations Managers with day-to-day challenges, from preparing presentation decks to organizing team events.

Who You Are:

  • The Tech Translator: You are comfortable learning new software quickly, but more importantly, you can explain it simply to someone who isn't tech-savvy.
  • Highly Organized: You love structure. You get satisfaction from turning a messy pile of papers into a perfectly labeled digital folder.
  • Patient & Collaborative: You understand that changing human behavior takes time, and you are willing to support teammates until they feel comfortable with new processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or Industrial Management.
  • Tech Proficiency:
    • Essential: Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Drive).
    • Bonus: Familiarity with Google AppSheet, Looker Studio, or PowerBI is a huge plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication (English & Bahasa Malaysia). You must be confident speaking with everyone from Plant Managers to Production Operators.
  • Availability: Minimum internship duration of [3/6] months
