This role will be a strategic cornerstone, positioned to lead group-wide planning across diversified portfolio from crafting and executing growth strategies in real estate to industrial products. The role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and transaction execution capability, and is well-suited for professionals with backgrounds in strategy consulting, advisory, or investment banking.
Lead the Group Corporate Strategy function and act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Board in:
- Leading the Group Corporate Strategy function and acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Board.
- Managing the Group's Corporate Strategy Department and acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Board.
- Conducting regular financial and strategic analysis for all business units and formulating business plans in collaboration with BU CEOs to drive growth.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating the Group's asset portfolio and recommending strategies to optimize the balance sheet through capital structure management, acquisitions, or divestitures.
- Leading corporate finance initiatives including fund-raising, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, divestitures, and new business ventures in collaboration with Group Treasury and Finance.
- Performing market scans and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities, new business models, and emerging risks.
- Preparing Board and Investment Committee papers, strategy decks, and presentations, and ensuring clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Leading valuation, scenario modelling, and due diligence for new investments, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Overseeing synergy assessments and post-merger integration to ensure value creation from corporate transactions.
- Building and maintaining strong networks with investment banks, consulting firms, private equity, and external advisors to source opportunities and benchmark best practices.
- Spearheading special projects such as portfolio restructuring, digital transformation, and expansion into new markets or sectors.
Who we want
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, MBA) are advantageous.
- 1015 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate advisory, or investment banking, with a proven track record in corporate strategy, M&A, or large-scale business transformation.
- Strong financial and business acumen with demonstrated experience in financial modelling, valuation, transaction execution, and strategic planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives, Board members, and external advisors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and mentor a high-performing strategy team.
