Lead the development and execution of the firms ESG advisory services.
Advise clients on ESG regulations, frameworks, and reporting requirements including GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, and Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
Oversee ESG risk assessments, materiality analyses, and sustainability strategy development.
Support clients with ESG disclosures, sustainability reports and assurance engagements
Drive thought leadership on ESG trends, climate risk and sustainable finance
Collaborate with audit, tax, and advisory teams to embed ESG considerations into client solutions.
Mentor and develop the ESG team, ensuring high quality project delivery.
Engage with regulators, industry bodies and stakeholders to strengthen the firms ESG profile.
Undertake any additional task as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field.
Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is highly preferred
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in senior ESG, sustainability or corporate responsibility roles.
Strong understanding of ESG regulations, sustainability reporting standards and assurance practices.
Proven track record of leading ESG projects in corporate, consulting or accounting environments.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
