We are seeking professional to join our Global C&B team in fast pace environment as the Director, Global Executive Compensation & Benefits. The role reporting to the Global Head of Executive Compensation & Retention, this role will be responsible for executive compensation and benefit matters that require Shareholder's and/or Board's approval. This includes benchmarking executive positions to ensure the company is competitive in the market; making presentations to the Shareholder's and recommending changes based on market trends; and negotiating individual employment offers/contracts with company executives. He/she will play a critical role in benchmarking all base and variable pay programs for our senior executive team in multiple countries.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategy Development
- Stays abreast of key market, industry and statutory trends/practices in executive compensation.
- Provides feedback on competitiveness of executive C&B offering/practices;
- Perform benchmarking on executive level positions within the industry and geographic locations where we operate (primarily China & Indonesia). Keep the Shareholders appraised of key findings and trends.
- Ensure compensation practices comply with all legal and tax regulations
C-Level C&B
- Draft individual executive offers/employment packages for new hires and internal promotions.
- Advise on relevant issues/topics, industry best practices and alternatives ensuring the company is able to attract and hire top talent;
- In collaboration with Global HR team, recommend base and variable compensation program changes to improve/drive company performance and retention of key individuals;
- Contribute to strategic and operational special projects withing both HR and the businesses.
Operational Oversight
- Collaborate with global recruitment and HR team and partner with internal stakeholders to align C&B practices, employee experiences and business objectives
- Review/audit all C&B information which requires the Shareholder's approval
- Lead small team that manages executive payroll and global mobility processes
- Ensure management of all programs and initiatives are administered in alignment with legislation and internal guidelines
- Manage executive payroll process and screening of matters requiring Shareholders approval.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in Compensation & Benefits, 5+ years in a HR leadership role
- A Bachelor's degree
- Ability to effectively interface with C-level executives and to translate complex data/regulations into understandable presentations
- A strong knowledge of compensation practices, legal/tax regulations concerning executive pay practices and reporting and governance practices in China and Indonesia
- Experience in the development, delivery and rollout of significant compensation programs or projects
- Strong project management, analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Be able to set realistic deadlines and expectations
- Comfortable in working in a face pace environment
