Job Description
The Opportunity
We're looking for a rainmaker. Someone who doesn't just manage relationships but builds empires out of them.
This is a role for a strategic operator who can walk into a boardroom, read the politics, understand the pressure points, and turn a prospect into a long-term partner. You'll sit at the intersection of leadership, strategy and hands-on execution.
If you thrive on complexity, love the chase, and know how to close, keep reading.
What You'll Own
- Executive relationships that matter. Build trusted connections at C-suite and operational level, becoming the go-to expert on each prospect's structure, politics and strategic goals.
- The full prospect journey. Be the primary point of contact, continuously widening your network of decision-makers while keeping every conversation aligned to what the client actually needs.
- Market intelligence. Stay sharper than the competition — track trends, anticipate shifts, and feed insight back into the business to sharpen the product and the pitch.
- Bespoke value propositions. Lead the charge on differentiated, prospect-specific strategies that make the competition look like an afterthought.
- Cross-functional firepower. Rally senior leadership and internal teams to build proposals and presentations that win.
- A clean pipeline. Keep every engagement, conversation and next step meticulously tracked through CRM.
What You Bring
✔ 10+ years of proven success in business development within the corporate services space (Corporate Secretarial, Company Incorporation, Accounting, Tax, Compliance, Payroll etc.)
✔ A track record of closing high-value deals and driving strategic initiatives that move the needle
✔ Financial fluency — P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling aren't buzzwords to you, they're second nature
✔ Gravitas — the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at every level, from analyst to CEO
✔ A gift for storytelling — you can turn complex solutions into compelling, persuasive narratives
✔ Comfort operating in fast-paced, data-driven environments with a relentless focus on commercial outcomes
What's In It For You
- Competitive, market-benchmarked compensation plus pension
- Private health & dental cover, life assurance and additional wellbeing benefits
- 25 days annual leave plus statutory public holidays
- Generous family leave — maternity, paternity and beyond
- Flexible & hybrid working — this role is built around real work-life balance, not lip service
- Genuine investment in your growth through structured learning and development programmes
- A seat at the table in a global business with serious scale, serving some of the biggest names in private equity and asset management worldwide
Why This Role, Why Now
This isn't a maintenance job. It's a mandate to build — new relationships, new strategies, new revenue. You'll have the backing of a global platform, deep sector expertise, and a leadership team that wants bold thinking, not box-ticking.
If you're ready to lead from the front and leave a mark, we want to hear from you.
This role is based on a real opportunity within a leading global Investor Services group. Company details available on application.
