Director of Finance

About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Finance Leader to support the VP of Finance in overseeing Group financial reporting, consolidation, tax and finance governance for a public-listed organisation in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Group financial reporting, consolidation and closing.
• Oversee Bursa Malaysia reporting, statutory reporting and audit coordination.
• Manage Group tax compliance, planning and transfer pricing matters.
• Provide financial insights to senior management, Audit Committee and Board.
• Drive improvements in finance processes, controls and reporting systems.
• Support corporate exercises including acquisitions, restructuring and financing.
• Lead and develop the Group Finance team.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CA(M), ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with substantial hands-on responsibility for group reporting, consolidation and taxation in a complex or listed-company environment.
• In-depth knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, Group consolidation, Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements, local taxation and transfer-pricing compliance; regional tax exposure is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, technical accounting, analytical, project-management and stakeholder-management capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex financial and tax matters clearly to senior management.
• Solid audit experience.
• Mandarin-speaking preferred.
• MIA membership preferred.
