Director, Power Strategy & Grid Delivery (APAC)

With a growing footprint across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, the business is at the forefront of developing next-generation digital infrastructure to support hyperscale cloud, network, and content providers.

Your new role

Reporting into the regional leadership team, you will take ownership of the end-to-end grid connection and power delivery strategy across multiple APAC markets. Acting as the primary interface with utilities, grid operators, regulators, and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring grid capacity and infrastructure are secured and delivered in line with ambitious project timelines.

• 70% Grid Connection & Infrastructure Delivery – Lead HV/MV grid connection projects from feasibility through energisation, manage utility engagement, connection applications, technical studies, and coordinate delivery with TSOs, DSOs, consultants, and contractors.
• 20% Stakeholder & Programme Leadership – Collaborate closely with development, engineering, construction, commercial, finance, and legal teams to ensure grid workstreams remain fully integrated into wider campus delivery programmes.
• 10% Process Development & Strategic Improvement – Develop scalable grid delivery frameworks, playbooks, governance processes, and lessons-learned initiatives to strengthen programme execution across the APAC portfolio.

You will also provide executive-level reporting on critical milestones, commercial exposure, project risks, energisation schedules, and utility engagement strategies while identifying opportunities to accelerate delivery and improve programme certainty.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience delivering grid connection, power infrastructure, utility interface, or complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management experience across utilities, regulators, consultants, contractors, legal teams, engineering teams, and commercial functions.
• Working knowledge of grid connection frameworks and regulatory environments within APAC, particularly Malaysia, Japan, and Australia.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
• Experience negotiating and managing connection agreements, utility engagement, compliance requirements, and commercial risks.
• Willingness to travel extensively across APAC as project requirements demand.
