Director, Sales & Distribution (Distribution - Structured FX & Flow), GTM

• Provide strategic leadership, accountability and performance monitoring for SFF Business across Malaysia, ensuring sustainable revenue delivery in line with franchise objectives. Deliver revenue and volume targets across FX, Structured FX, and Gold/commodity asset classes
• Establish and continuously strengthen an effective compliance, audit and risk governance framework, proactive identification and zero tolerance for regulatory breaches. Oversee adherence to internal risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Drive strategic priorities and transformations initiatives that enhance Distribution franchise value, accelerate product & system innovation and deliver measurable improvements in CX and product offerings. Lead strategic initiatives and product rollouts including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
• Provide subject-matter expertise and lead execution of business strategies through collaboration with internal stakeholders (Consumer Banking, Private Banking, Financial Institutions, Transaction Banking, Group Operations, and Technology teams)
• Role-Model leadership by fostering strong cross-functional collaboration, developing future-ready talent, and active contribution to group wide priorities and culture.
• Perform any other duties as and when instructed by Head , Distribution.
• Represent the business in internal and external meetings, presenting performance updates and strategic plans as needed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics/Financial Engineering)
• PPKM Certification
• Awarded by ACIFMAM and the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) is preferred
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banking / financial institutions
• Experience in FX, Structured FX, Gold investment products, and digital platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of vanilla FX, cross-border money transfers, foreign exchange derivatives, and gold/commodity products.
• Proficiency in financial markets, trade execution, and pricing models.
• Strong understanding of regulatory landscape and proficiency on risk controls
• Experience in managing commercial negotiations, partner onboarding, and system integrations.
• Understanding of System and Digital platforms
