Job Description
DISCIPLINE ENGINEER
Requirements
Well and Reservoir Performance Surveillance
Conduct continuous surveillance and integrated assessment of well and reservoir performance through production data analysis, pressure monitoring, production allocation, trend evaluation, and nodal analysis to ensure optimum production delivery and early identification of performance deterioration.
Well Deliverability and Nodal Analysis
Perform detailed well performance diagnostics and nodal analysis to evaluate production constraints, identify bottlenecks, assess well deliverability, and recommend optimization strategies to maximize asset production.
Production Enhancement Opportunity Identification and Maturation
Identify, screen, evaluate, and mature production enhancement opportunities including stimulation, recompletion, operating envelope optimization, debottlenecking initiatives, and production improvement projects that deliver additional production and value.
Idle Well Reactivation and Well Restoration Planning
Lead technical evaluations of idle, shut-in, and underperforming wells, including candidate selection, intervention planning, economic assessment, and execution support to recover deferred production and improve asset performance.
Reservoir Recovery Optimization
Integrate reservoir and production system analyses to recommend strategies that maximize hydrocarbon recovery, improve reservoir drainage efficiency, minimize production losses, and support sustainable reservoir management practices.
Support Future Development and Growth Initiatives
Provide production technology support for infill drilling, redevelopment projects, near-field opportunities, well restoration campaigns, and future field development activities through production forecasting, performance prediction, and technical assurance studies.
Stakeholder Management and Integrated Asset Delivery
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising Operations, Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Wells, Facilities, Projects, and Management to ensure timely execution of production optimization activities, intervention programs, and strategic growth initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience, preferably in Production Engineering, Production Technology, Well Performance, or Petroleum Engineering.
Proven experience in well and reservoir performance surveillance, including analysis of production, pressure, well test and allocation data.
