Set in Malaysia's rapidly developing capital our hotel is located in the heart of KL Eco City Bangsar and directly connected to LRT Station and KTM Commuter Station. Amari Kuala Lumpur is ideally located in between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya with 252 guest rooms ranging from well- appointed Superior rooms, Deluxe rooms, Club Deluxe rooms and Club One Bedroom Suites.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Distribution Manager to join our Commercial

team. This role plays a key part in driving business through OTA channels, ensuring rate

integrity and parity across all distribution platforms, and supporting overall connectivity for

other segments. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in distribution systems

with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to maximize performance and revenue

opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage OTA performance, with a strong focus on business growth, rate parity, and channel optimization.
  • Oversee daily channel manager and partner extranet operations, ensuring accurate rate, availability, and content updates.
  • Monitor the pricing landscape across all channels, identifying discrepancies and opportunities to strengthen competitiveness.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to analyze distribution data, measure channel contribution, and drive tactical actions.
  • Support connectivity and distribution requirements for wholesale dynamic, GDS, RFP, and other related systems to ensure seamless integration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain system accuracy and resolve distribution-related issues.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends, competitor benchmarking, and performance analytics.
  • Ensure all distribution practices align with company strategies, delivering efficiency, accuracy, and revenue growth.

Systems You Will Work With

  • OTA Extranets for rate, availability, and content management.
  • SynXis (Channel Manager/CRS) for centralized distribution and connectivity.
  • Lighthouse (Rate Shopping Tool) for monitoring competitor pricing and market position.
  • Fornova (Parity Monitoring Tool) for ensuring rate integrity across channels.
  • Other distribution tools additional systems may be implemented in the future, and adaptability to learn new platforms will be essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in hotel distribution, channel management, or OTA account management.
  • Strong knowledge of channel managers, partner extranets, and e-distribution platforms.
  • Solid understanding of **pricing strategies** and how different business segments (corporate, OTA, wholesale, direct) interact in the market.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, generate insights, and translate them into action plans.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.
