Role Mission: This role exists to define and govern the end-to-end solution architecture for the Enterprise Business Group (EBG) CRM and Order Management (OM) domains at a time of continued enterprise platform transformation and growing integration complexity. The role ensures that business priorities across customer lifecycle, order orchestration, fulfilment readiness, and downstream operational handoffs are translated into scalable, secure, and supportable solution designs. It brings architectural consistency across initiatives, reduces fragmentation between platforms, and accelerates delivery by providing clear architecture direction. The role also helps shape the target-state roadmap for CRM and OM modernization while safeguarding business continuity and delivery quality.

Accountabilities:

  1. Own target-state and transitional architecture for EBG CRM and OM.
  2. Govern end-to-end solution design across lead-to-order, quote-to-cash, order capture, decomposition, orchestration, and fulfilment handoffs.
  3. Ensure alignment to enterprise architecture principles, security standards, integration patterns, and domain roadmaps.
  4. Drive architecture decisions, design quality, and solution integrity across projects, vendors, and delivery teams.
  5. Identify and manage architecture risks, technical debt, dependencies, and modernization opportunities within the CRM and OM domain.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, and vendors to translate business requirements into architecture options and approved solution designs.
  2. Produce and maintain architecture artifacts such as solution blueprints, capability maps, application interaction diagrams, data flows, interface specifications, and transition roadmaps.
  3. Define integration and data patterns across CRM, CPQ, product catalog, OM, billing, provisioning, service assurance, and related enterprise platforms.
  4. Review business, functional, and technical designs to ensure compliance with approved architecture and non-functional requirements including resilience, security, observability, and supportability.
  5. Support delivery governance, impact assessments, platform evaluations, and architecture reviews across change initiatives in the EBG domain.

Team Scope/ Stakeholders:

  1. This is an individual contributor role with strong matrix influence across business, product, engineering, integration, vendor, and operations teams.
  2. Key stakeholders include: EBG business owners, product managers, enterprise architects, CRM and OM delivery teams, integration teams, billing/provisioning teams, program managers, operations/support teams, cybersecurity, and external delivery partners/vendors.

Minimum Profile/ Track Record:

  1. Ideal Profile desired background: Strong background in solution architecture, preferably in telecommunications, B2B services, or similarly complex industries with multi-system customer and order lifecycle processes.
  2. Ideal Profile seniority, skills and certifications: 8+ years in solution/application architecture or large-scale systems delivery strong experience in CRM and Order Management deep understanding of domains integration, APIs, event-driven patterns, and domain data models strong stakeholder management and documentation skills. Must-haves include hands-on architecture delivery across multiple integrated platforms. Preferred: telecom BSS/OSS experience, TM Forum knowledge, cloud-native architecture exposure, and TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
  3. Ideal track record #1: Proven experience designing and governing end-to-end solutions across CRM, order management, fulfilment, and downstream operational systems for complex enterprise environments.
  4. Ideal track record #2: Demonstrated success leading architecture decisions for cross-functional programs involving multiple applications, vendors, and business stakeholders, with clear ownership of non-functional quality and integration design.
  5. Ideal track record #3: Strong history of shaping domain roadmaps, reducing architecture fragmentation/technical debt, and enabling delivery teams to execute strategic transformation initiatives with lower rework and improved design consistency.
