Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Drilling SSHE Advisor to support operations risk control activities for an upstream oil & gas project in Sabah.

Key Responsibilities

Provide SSHE advisory support for drilling, workover and Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations.
Provide SSHE guidance and support for exploration, appraisal and development drilling projects.
Support the identification, assessment and management of SSHE risks associated with drilling activities.
Provide advice to drilling and operational teams on SSHE matters and appropriate risk controls.
Support the implementation and monitoring of SSHE requirements for assigned drilling activities, whether onshore or offshore.
Identify potential SSHE risks and recommend appropriate control measures.
Support incident prevention and continuous improvement of SSHE practices.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to promote safe and effective execution of drilling operations.

Key Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering.
Minimum 12 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience working within a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) environment.
Minimum 7 years of experience supporting drilling, workover and/or Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations.
Experience supporting exploration, appraisal and development drilling projects.
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting deepwater drilling operations.
Deepwater experience is defined as working in water depths exceeding 4,000 ft.
