Drilling SSHE Specialist - Onshore / Offshore (Sabah)

We are currently seeking an experienced Drilling SSHE Specialist to support operations risk control activities for an upstream oil & gas project in Sabah.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SSHE specialist support for drilling, workover and Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations.
• Support SSHE activities for exploration, appraisal and development drilling projects.
• Support the identification and assessment of SSHE risks associated with drilling activities.
• Assist drilling and operational teams in implementing appropriate SSHE risk controls.
• Participate in SSHE reviews and operational assurance activities related to drilling operations.
• Monitor compliance with established SSHE requirements and procedures.
• Identify SSHE issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of SSHE requirements for assigned drilling activities, whether onshore or offshore.
• Support continuous improvement of SSHE practices throughout drilling operations.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience working within a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting drilling, workover and/or Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations.Experience supporting exploration, appraisal and development drilling projects.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting deepwater drilling operations.
• Deepwater experience is defined as working in water depths exceeding 4,000 ft.
