Job Purpose
The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for company executives. The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and confidentiality standards while ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving & Transportation
- Safely drive company executives, staff, and guests to designated locations as required. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely arrival and avoid unnecessary delays.
- Maintain professional etiquette, ensuring a courteous and respectful experience for passengers.
- Vehicle Care & Maintenance
- Ensure vehicles are always clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- Perform routine checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights, etc.) and promptly report any issues.
- Coordinate with workshop/service centers for regular servicing and repairs.
- Compliance & Safety
- Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain updated knowledge of traffic routes, road conditions, and alternative routes.
- Ensure proper documentation of vehicle (road tax, insurance, inspection, etc.) is valid and up to date.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate logbook/records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and servicing schedules.
- Assist with basic office errands such as delivery of documents, parcels, or other administrative tasks when required.
- Confidentiality & Professionalism
- Uphold discretion and confidentiality regarding executives, passengers, and company matters.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification. Valid Malaysian driving license (Class D/B2) with clean driving record. Experience as a driver for company executives. Good knowledge of Klang Valley routes and use of navigation apps.
- Skilled in safe driving practices with basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including weekends/public holidays.
- Well-groomed, courteous, and professional in dealing with passengers.
- High integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
