E-Commerce Livestream Lead (TikTok & Shopee)

What You'll Do

1. Own Livestream GMV Performance (Not Just Execution)

You are responsible for turning livestream into a reliable revenue engine, not a hit-or-miss channel.

This includes conversion rates, retention, AOV, and ROI — not just views.

2. Rebuild Livestream Structure & Flow

Design how our livestreams should run:

  • Hook → retention → product flow → closing
  • Reduce bounce-off rate
  • Improve session watch time and conversion

3. Fix What Agencies Couldn't Solve

Audit current agency-led livestreams and identify:

  • Where drop-offs happen
  • Why conversions are low
  • What needs to change immediately

Then implement improvements fast.

4. Build & Lead In-House Livestream Team

  • Recruit and train hosts, moderators, and operators
  • Set performance standards (not just go live)
  • Reduce reliance on agencies over time

5. Integrate Livestream with Full Ecosystem

Work closely with:

  • Content (for traffic and hooks)
  • Ads (for ROI and scaling)
  • Affiliate/KOL (for traffic inflow)

Livestream is not standalone — it must convert demand created elsewhere.

6. Establish Clear Metrics & Reporting

Build a simple but sharp system:

  • GMV per session
  • Conversion rate
  • Drop-off points
  • ROI per stream
  • No ambiguity — performance must be measurable.

What We're Looking For
  • 3–6 years experience in e-commerce, livestream, or performance marketing
  • Proven experience managing TikTok Shop / Shopee livestreams
  • Strong understanding of conversion-driven selling (not just engagement)
  • Able to identify problems using data, not guesswork
  • Experience managing or working closely with livestream hosts
  • Strong commercial thinking (offers, pricing, bundling, urgency)
  • Able to operate with ownership in a high-accountability environment

This role is not for someone who prefers execution without ownership.

You are expected to make decisions and be accountable for outcomes.

What Sets You Apart
  • Experience turning livestream into a consistent revenue channel, not just traffic
  • Strong understanding of traffic → livestream → conversion
  • Ability to identify drop-off points and fix them quickly
  • Experience working across internal teams and external agencies
  • Able to prioritise what drives GMV, not just activity
  • Experience reducing reliance on agencies or improving their performance

Performance Expectation

This is a results-driven role.

Within the first 90 days, you are expected to:

  • Establish a clear livestream structure and execution standard
  • Reduce bounce-off rate and improve session retention
  • Improve livestream conversion rate and GMV consistency
  • Identify and fix at least 1–2 major performance gaps
  • Build initial in-house livestream capability
  • Provide clear reporting on GMV, conversion, and ROI
