The Early Career Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talents who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 6 - 12 months, and it will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills, additionally provide on-the-job learning and exposure to enable you to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of your professional lives.

Our traineeship will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E). You'll participate in technically focused training, team meetings and work on projects and present your results. During your traineeship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure that you have a valuable learning experience.

Aspart of ourEarly Career Traineeship,you will be involved in:

  • Assist geoscientists in executing daily technical tasks related to geological, geophysical, and reservoir studies.
  • Support data gathering, cleaning, interpretation, and visualization using standard geoscience software and tools.
  • Contribute to integrated subsurface projects, including well planning, reservoir mapping, formation evaluation, and production optimization studies.
  • Prepare technical presentations, reports, maps, and figures for internal reviews and crossfunctional discussions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with drilling, reservoir engineering, and production teams to understand project requirements and contribute analytical support.
  • Learn and apply company workflows, standards, and best practices in subsurface characterization.
  • Assist with the quality control (QC) of geoscience datasets including well logs, seismic data, and core information.
  • Support ongoing research, technology adoption, and digital subsurface initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Petroleum Engineering, Geology related fields
  • Graduated from your bachelors degree within the last 12 months
  • Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills
  • Be inquisitive and present a thirst for knowledge
  • Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying, without sponsorship or time restrictions
  • Adaptable to flexible working incase there is a operation support required
  • AI/ML experience, working with phyton and C++ coding experience
  • Geology, geoscience and petroleum engineering
