Job Description
Position : Early Childhood Educator (Special Needs Children)
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement appropriate learning activities for children with special needs based on their individual needs.
Provide a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for learning and development.
Apply early intervention strategies to support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress and offer necessary guidance and support.
Collaborate with therapy teams (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) to ensure the consistent implementation of intervention plans.
Monitor and document each child's progress and prepare periodic progress reports.
Manage children's behavior using positive and effective strategies.
Attend training sessions and professional development programs to enhance skills in special needs education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Experience working with children with special needs is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and patience in handling children with different challenges.
Creative, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
Knowledge of therapy-based teaching techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Montessori is a plus.
