The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and managing the companys
online sales strategies to maximize revenue, enhance user experience, and build a strong online
presence. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, marketing insight, and
data-driven decision-making to drive growth in digital sales channels.
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aligned with the companys sales and branding goals.
- Identify new opportunities for online growth, partnerships/affiliations and market expansion.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the digital marketplace.
Platform Management
- Oversee the performance, design, and functionality of the companys e-commerce online platforms (e.g., Shopee, TikTok).
- Ensure accurate product listings, images, descriptions, and pricing are consistently updated with relevant keywords.
- Collaborate with developers or agencies to enhance site performance.
Marketing & Customer Acquisition
- Plan and execute online marketing campaigns, including social media posts and paid ads
- (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Drive traffic and conversion through affiliate marketing, and influencer collaborations.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align online promotions with overall brand campaigns.
Sales & Performance Analysis
- Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and customer behavior to optimize strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Ability to use analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, or platform dashboards to track KPIs.
Inventory & Order Management
- Coordinate with supply chain, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Oversee order processing, fulfillment efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Manage relationships with couriers and third-party logistics providers.
Customer Experience & Support
- Ensure smooth and positive customer journey across digital touchpoints.
- Address escalated customer service issues and improve after-sales experience.
- Implement strategies to increase repeat purchases and customer loyalty.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, train, and support the e-commerce team and partners (executives, designers, digital marketers).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing/creative, operations and finance teams.
