Join Our Team as an Editorial Designer
Are you a creative designer passionate about visual storytelling We are looking for an Editorial Designer to join our night shift team. In this role, you&aposll be crafting compelling visuals, infographics, and layouts that elevate our stories and engage readers across all platforms.
What You&aposll Do
- Design dynamic layouts: Create engaging page layouts for both news and feature stories.
- Produce powerful visuals: Design compelling infographics and cover visuals using a range of graphic and illustrative styles. You&aposll also work with data and charts to create visually appealing graphics.
- Collaborate and create: Work closely with our editors and content teams to ensure consistency and clarity across platforms, producing content for both print and digital formats.
- Innovate with digital tools: Use digital storytelling tools like Genial.ly and Shorthand to produce interactive and animated content.
What We&aposre Looking For
- Experience: We&aposre open to fresh graduates. We&aposre also considering candidates with up to two years of experience in creative layout or infographic design, especially for publications or digital platforms.
- Technical Skills: You must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Familiarity with Adobe animation tools, such as Adobe After Effects, is an advantage.
- Digital Savvy: You should be comfortable working with digital tools like Genial.ly and Shorthand for interactive content creation.
