About The Role
EH&S Officer (The Exchange TRX)
Role
We're looking for a proactive
EH&S Officer to support the continuous improvement of safety standards and ensure a secure environment for our tenants, contractors, and visitors. Your role includes but not limited to:
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the development and implementation of Emergency Preparedness Plans (EPP) and Emergency Mitigation Procedures (EMP).
- Monitor the firefighting system and Building Management System (BMS), ensuring timely follow-up on maintenance and corrective work.
- Assist in coordinating government and regulatory inspections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, including incident reports, safety records, and training materials.
- Support the planning and execution of emergency drills, safety briefings, and staff training programs.
- Work closely with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with site safety standards.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), NIOSH, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of EH&S experience, preferably in a shopping mall or retail environment. Familiarity with emergency preparedness, firefighting systems, and building control systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to perform well in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
