Position Overview
Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment at our data centre facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a culture of safety and compliance.
Role And Responsibilities
EHS Program Development and Implementation:
- Design and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures following local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Training And Education
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
- Promote awareness and understanding of EHS policies and procedures across the organization.
Incident Management
- Lead investigations into EHS incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and follow-up actions.
Audits And Inspections
- Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections of data centre facilities.
- Identify areas for improvement and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during audits and inspections.
Environmental Management
- Develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor and manage waste disposal, recycling programs, and energy consumption.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Health And Safety Management
- Oversee the development and maintenance of emergency response plans.
- Manage occupational health programs, including ergonomic assessments and health screenings.
- Coordinate with medical professionals and local emergency services as needed.
Reporting And Documentation
- Prepare and submit EHS reports to regulatory agencies and company leadership.
- Maintain comprehensive EHS documentation and records.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Experiences in compliance internal control, risk control audit, information security, quality management, and logistics security for large state-owned enterprises, multinational groups, and listed companies are preferred.
- Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO45001, EHS system construction.
- Good document processing, report writing, and data analysis skills.
- Good communication: reading and writing skills in English
- Ability to output technology into management processes and system tools, with similar work or project experience preferred.
- Has strong pressure resistance, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to execute and push forward, and can accept domestic and overseas business trips.
