Job Description
Scope of Work:
- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for site personnel, ensuring they are aware of safety procedures and best practices.
- Incident Management: Investigate and report on-site accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, safety audits, and training logs.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize safety risks.
- Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with local safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring site personnel are prepared for potential emergencies.
- Safety Equipment: Monitor and maintain safety equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and readily available.
- Reporting: Prepare regular safety reports for senior management, highlighting safety performance, issues, and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site safety supervision, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
