EHS Technician

Location: Rawang, Selangor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced EHS Technician to support environmental, health, and safety operations within engineering and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will implement safety protocols, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in electromechanical and HVAC project environments. This role requires strong safety management knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor environmental, health, and safety (EHS) procedures across electromechanical and HVAC project sites.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain and update EHS documentation, including safety records, inspection reports, and training logs using Office software (Word, Excel).
• Support safety training sessions and promote safety awareness among employees and contractors.
• Ensure onsite activities adhere to engineering construction specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate EHS measures into daily operations and project planning.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid Safety Officer certificate and Registered Safety Supervisor certification (Yellow Book) required.
• Minimum 2 years of safety management experience in electromechanical or HVAC engineering environments.
• Proficient in Office software (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
