Lead respective line Engineers in Controls, Instruments and Telecommunications department to ensure compliance, safe, fit-for purpose, robust and cost-effective Topsides/ Marine facility design and operation.
Manage performance, quality and standards of Controls, Instruments and Telecommunications engineering deliverables throughout all engineering phases (Conceptual Engineering, Engineering Definition, FEED, DDE and Operation).
Job Purpose
Manage, review and verify engineering deliverables for Controls, Instruments and Telecommunications (CIT) department.
Lead the development of Process Controls and Safeguarding (including Fire and Gas), Process Automation System, Instruments and Telecommunication Philosophy, Basis of Design, Functional Specification and SOW (inclusive of its sub-section) for MSQ / RFQ of Topsides engineering services.
Lead risk assessment of safety integrated level in the instrumentation aspect.
Implement design changes requirement and MOC throughout all engineering phases.
Responsible for Interfacing with other Engineering discipline in PD&T-OBU, MISC.
Develop strategies to facilitate continuous development CIT team capabilities and standards in order to meet MISC vision and mission.
Participate in Senior Engineer / Lead TCP assessment and provide improvement plan.
Participate and support QHSE activities and procedure implementation.
Competencies:
Highly competent in engineering management with further benefits of floaters associated design.
Knowledgeable in associated engineering discipline design tools, codes and standards.
Able to address design risk and shortfall.
Experience:
At least 12 years of work experience in O&G sector.
Minimum 5 years managerial experience in managing specific engineering discipline or project management for Engineering consultant or EPCC contractor.
Experience in floaters type design aspect is preferred (Conceptual Study, FEED and DDE).
Qualification:
Relevant recognized qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics/ Control/ Instruments or other related engineering) discipline.
Preference:
Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate / Registered with recognized professional body.
