Job Description

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing home and ensure smooth facility management.
• Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor service standards to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and internal governance standards.
  
  

Resident Care & Service Excellence

• Work closely with nursing, caregiving, rehabilitation, and nursing teams to maintain excellent care outcomes.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Foster a positive, caring, and resident-focused culture across the facility.
  
  

People Management

• Coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams including nurses, caregivers, therapists, and administrative staff.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives.
• Build a positive and accountable workplace culture.
  
  

Business Development & Occupancy Growth

• Develop strategies to improve occupancy rates and business performance.
• Build relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, community organisations, and referral networks.
• Assist marketing and outreach initiatives to enhance brand presence and market visibility.
  
  

Financial & Administrative Management

• Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource planning.
• Monitor key performance indicators, occupancy levels, staffing ratios, and financial performance.
• Prepare management reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in healthcare, elderly care, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres, hospitals, or related sectors.
• Prior experience managing operations, service delivery, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong business acumen with exposure to occupancy growth, stakeholder management, and business development.
• Excellent people management , communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance resident care with commercial and operational goals.
• Mandarin speaking ability is highly preferred due to the demographics of residents and family members.
