Description
We are seeking a Mid-level Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering design, capable of contributing to the development of innovative electrical systems for diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical solutions for pre-sales and non-standard projects.
- Perform electrical design for non-standard projects, track project progress, provide installation guidance, and prepare acceptance documentation.
- Participate in scheme reviews and develop electrical circuit and layout diagrams.
- Select industrial automation components, standard electrical parts, and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Communicate with project managers and supervisors to track electrical cabinet wiring progress.
- Assist with on-site wiring, commissioning, and provide post-sales support.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Experience with circuit design, PCB layout, and power distribution systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
