Electrical & Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical and Electronics Engineer with Production/Manufacturing background to join our operations in Gelang Patah, Johor (PTP area). The ideal candidate will combine practical, hands-on electronic troubleshooting and soldering expertise with project coordination and team leadership capabilities. You will play a key role in driving daily production efficiency, overseeing hardware maintenance, and integrating modern AI tool workflows into our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production lines, perform machine-level troubleshooting, and ensure output meets operational standards without requiring direct supervision.
• Perform hands-on PCBA soldering, component-level repairs, and diagnostic testing for complex electronic assemblies.
• Lead local production team members, organize and facilitate regular operational meetings, and drive project deliverables from inception to completion.
• Drive and support AI-related project initiatives (such as integrating AI agents/tools to optimize manufacturing workflows and production tracking).
• Collaborate with regional and global teams, suppliers, and management across multiple shifts and operational demands.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EE) or equivalent.
• Up to 4 years of proven hands-on working experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong skills in PCBA component-level troubleshooting and hands-on PCBA soldering/rework.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal supervision, organize effective meetings, and lead technical discussions.
• Prior experience supervising, mentoring, or leading a team on the factory floor.
• Familiarity or hands-on experience implementing AI tools, automated agents, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with international stakeholders.
• Direct experience troubleshooting complex factory machinery and automated production equipment.
• Location: Based in or willing to commute to Gelang Patah / PTP, Johor.
