Jobs Description
Site Execution & Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors on site.
- Ensure electrical installation works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, and workmanship quality.
- Provide technical support to resolve site installation issues.
Technical & Drawings
- Review electrical drawings and single line diagrams (SLD) for site execution purposes.
- Familiar with LV systems including lighting, power, busduct, UPS, generators, switchgears, and earthing systems.
- Ensure site works comply with approved shop drawings and method statements.
Testing & Commissioning
- Assist and participate in testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
- Familiar with Insulation Resistance Test and Contact Resistance Test.
- Coordinate testing activities with subcontractors and consultants.
- Prepare basic testing and commissioning reports.
Coordination & Reporting
- Attend site meetings and prepare basic site progress reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal project team on site matters.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and O&M documentation (if required).
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure site works comply with MS, IEC, IEEE standards and local authority requirements.
- Follow HSE policies and safety procedures at site.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and a strong understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts
- Knowledge of Electricity, including principles, applications, and safety standards
- Experience in Power Distribution and Power Systems analysis
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, with a commitment to safety
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in construction and data centre projects is an advantage
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations is highly desirable
