Lead Project Engineer – Electrical (Data Center Project)

Location: Port Dickson, Malaysia

Contract Type: 1-year renewable

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Lead Electrical Project Engineer to join our project management team for a hyperscale data center construction project in Port Dickson. The role involves supporting and coordinating electrical installation and commissioning works within a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the project management team in supervising all electrical-related site works.
• Review and coordinate design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Monitor contractor progress, quality, and testing & commissioning activities.
• Ensure safety, schedule, and quality compliance for all electrical works.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical and ELV teams to ensure system integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics/IT or ELV).
• Minimum 5 years experience in building, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects. Experience in data center, semiconductor, or pharmaceutical projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
