We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an early to mid-career engineer with a foundation in electrical design for buildings, who is also passionate about stepping into project management and expanding into data centre and industrial/factory projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical design for building services including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, fire alarm systems and ELV systems.
- Prepare single line diagrams, layouts, load schedules and technical specifications in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integration and compliance.
- Support tender documentation, cost estimation, and procurement processes.
- Participate in project meetings and site inspections to ensure smooth project execution.
- Learn and assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and communication with clients and contractors.
- Gain exposure to factory/industrial project requirements including high-load electrical design and process support.
- Commit to continuous professional development and readiness to take on high-value, complex projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional registration (or working towards) is an advantage.
- More than 4 years of experience in electrical design for building services.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools and electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Understanding of electrical systems in commercial, residential or institutional buildings.
- Keen interest in project management and multidisciplinary coordination.
