Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Preliminary Design Stage:

• Conceptual & Preliminary Design: Develop and optimize the project's conceptual layout, including PV array configuration, inverter selection, DC/AC ratios, BESS sizing (power & energy), and single-line diagrams for HV/MV/LV system.
• Energy Yield & Financial Modeling: Utilize PVsyst or other tools to create accurate energy production forecasts (P50/P90), considering system losses and performance. Support the financial team with technical inputs for the project's financial model.
• BOP & Grid Integration: Oversee the design of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems and the preliminary grid integration strategy, ensuring compliance with grid codes and interconnection requirements.
• RFP/RFI preparation: Develop and review procurement specification for HV/MV/LV system of all Requests for Information (RFIs) or Requests for Proposal to potential EPC.

Detail Design Stage

• :Design Management: Manage and review the work of external engineering consultants to deliver a complete, and code-compliant detailed design package
• .Design Review & Approval: Conduct rigorous reviews of all engineering deliverables, including: Electrical Design: Detailed single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable sizing, equipment layouts, and protection & coordination studies. BESS Integration Design: Container layout, thermal management, fire suppression system design, and AC/DC integration
