We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager/Sr. Manager to lead and supervise our electrical and control/software engineering teams. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring effective project execution while developing scalable methods for software development and system integration. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the electrical and control/software engineering teams to ensure effective project execution.
- Develop and implement scalable methods and procedures for software development and system integration.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance product functionality and user experience.
- Perform technical support and troubleshooting for control-related issues during on-site equipment servicing.
- Provide technical consultation to project managers and customers, ensuring alignment with requirements
- Evaluate electrical schematics and design documents for build-to-print and custom projects.
- Recruit, coach, and develop engineering talent to meet current and future business needs.
- Plan, monitor, and manage departmental budgets, headcount, and project timelines.
- Ensure adherence to software and safety standards (SEMI, ISO, CE, UL).
- Conduct formal performance evaluations and mentoring for team members.
- Enforce internal policies, processes, and project documentation standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across control system applications and team operations.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in control systems, machine automation, or software engineering.
- Prior leadership experience in managing software/control engineering teams.
- Strong experience with equipment automation and control system architecture.
- Familiarity with SEMI GEM Secs, equipment communication protocols, and industrial standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving mindset.
- Ability to manage high pressure situations and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Organized, result-driven and capable of strategic planning.
- Experience in managing large-scale automation projects and application development.
- Familiar with SEMI standards (E82, E88, E153), CE, ISO 13855 and UL compliance.
- Understanding system architecture to support platform scalability and reliability.
- Ability to review and debug software and firmware for machine control systems.
