Job Description:
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all electrical equipment in the factory safely.
- Meets all Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental requirements when performing job duties.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
- Use basic diagnostic equipment including volt/ohm meter, ammeter, and megger.
- Program, and troubleshoot plant programmable logic controllers, input/output devices and associated equipment.
- Applied knowledge of single phase and (3) phase electrical power, basic PLC programming, SCADA and ability to diagnosis and repair electrical circuits in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Perform control system and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Keep Supervisor up to date on the status of all assigned projects, programming, work back log, on-going problems, and safety issues.
You must possess the following:
- Graduate of Electrical/Instrumentation course or any other equivalent field
- 3 years experience in manufacturing as electrical /instrumentation technician with electrical/electronic background including Pneumatic Instruments.
- Has AO Chargeman certification
- Able to read and write in English or Malay.
- Able to work in Chembong, Negeri Sembilan
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- Have a positive and high level of competitiveness.
