As an Embodied AI Data Specialist in MR ROBOT, you will turn real-world robot interactions into high-quality, structured datasets that power our AI-driven robotics systems. This role focuses on data curation, validation, and annotation to ensure accuracy and usability for machine learning, directly improving robot perception, navigation, and task execution in real-world environments.
We're looking for someone detail-oriented and analytical, who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll collaborate closely with AI, robotics, and teleoperation teams to enhance data quality, optimize training pipelines, and continuously improve AI performance through better data.
Job Responsibilities:
Data Curation & Management
- Curate and organize data collected from robot training and deployment activities.
- Ensure data is clean, structured, and usable for AI training pipelines.
- Manage datasets across different robot types and operational environments.
Tele-Data Validation & Quality Control
- Review and validate training data for accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or low-quality data.
- Establish and maintain data quality standards and validation processes.
Data Annotation & Labeling
- Annotate and label datasets for machine learning tasks such as object recognition, navigation, and task execution.
- Ensure labeling accuracy and consistency across datasets.
- Work with annotation tools and workflows to improve efficiency.
AI Training Support
- Collaborate with AI and robotics teams to improve data relevance and usefulness.
- Provide feedback on data gaps and suggest improvements to data collection processes.
- Support continuous improvement of AI models through better data quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with internal teams to ensure training data is accurate, complete, and suitable for AI learning.
- Align data requirements with real-world robot operations.
- Support testing and validation of AI performance using curated datasets.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Robotics, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in data annotation, data operations, AI training support, or related roles.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience working with data annotation tools or structured datasets.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and data pipelines.
- Ability to analyze and improve data quality.
- Exposure to computer vision or machine learning workflows.
- Experience in labeling tools or dataset management platforms.
