Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and innovative Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our sustainability team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing energy conservation projects within our industrial facilities. This role requires a strong technical background in electromechanical or HVAC systems, proven project management skills, and a track record of successful energy-saving initiatives that reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and manage comprehensive energy-saving strategies and projects forindustrial operations.
Conduct energy audits and analyses to identify significant energy conservation opportunities (ECOs) in electromechanical and HVAC systems.
Prepare detailed project proposals, including technical feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, andreturn on investment (ROI) calculations.
Manage the entire project lifecycle of energy efficiency initiatives, from planning and approval to execution and verification.
Monitor and verify energy performance post-implementation to ensure sustained savings and report on project outcomes.
Stay current with industry standards, energy regulations, and emerging technologies in energy efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and finance, to promote and implement energy-saving practices.
Prepare clear and professional reports, presentations, and documentation using OFFICE and AutoCAD software.
Qualifications
College degree or above in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in energy management within an industrial or factory setting, with a proven portfolio of successful energy-saving projects.
Strong technical understanding of electromechanical and HVAC equipment and systems, including their operational principles.Familiarity with relevant engineering standards and energy efficiency protocols.
